CLEVELAND
A federal grand jury has indicted Ricardo McKinney, 29, of Lancer Court and Olive Street, Warren, on charges of heroin distribution and illegal possession of a firearm stemming from a major drug bust that occurred in Warren.
Warren police said they found more than 1,650 grams of heroin with a street value of $250,000 at a residence in the 1500 block of North Road when they executed a search warrant there Feb. 25.
Police also confiscated two firearms, two digital scales, packaging material and about $6,000 in cash, they said.
The arrest culminated a two-month investigation by the Warren Police Street Crimes Unit.
McKinney faces four charges — two counts of distribution of less than 100 grams of heroin, one count of possession with intent to distribute 1 kilogram or more of heroin and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
