Children's races set Sunday at Volney Rogers

YOUNGSTOWN — The Healthy Kids Running Series begins at 4 p.m. Sunday at Volney Rogers Field at Mill Creek MetroParks.

The nonprofit program, which takes place at the same time and place April 19, 26 and May 3 and 17, is for pre-kindergarten to middle-school children. Each week kids participate in a race, with distances based on age.
