Teen snatches cell phone and ID cards

YOUNGSTOWN

A 23-year-old woman told police a male teen took her cell phone as she was at an Oak Street store Tuesday after she refused to let him use it.

Reports said the woman was walking out of the Family Dollar at 1833 Oak St. about 7:30 p.m. when the teen walked up to her and asked to use her phone. When she said no, the teen snatched it and the case it was in and ran away toward Shehy Street, reports said.

Reports said the woman’s bank cards and other identification cards were inside the case the cell phone was in.
