Michael McDonough (1-0) gave up one hit in six innings, striking out seven and walking six for Crestview (3-0) at Cene Park. Andy Gorby got the save, striking out one in the seventh. McDonough singled, stole a base and drove in a run. Tyler Fitzsimmons and Joel Fitzsimmons each singled and scored. Josh Bell pitched a four-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks for Heartland (4-1),

Canfield 7, Columbus DeSales 2
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.
Ally Sammarco had two triples, a single and scored twice to lead Canfield, which led 6-1 after three innings. Bridget Durkin did not allow an earned run in picking up the win. She struck out five, gave up five hits and did not walk a batter. Maura Kennedy homered, scored twice and drove in two runs.

Jordan Youngs had a triple, a homer and three RBIs and Codi Taylor had a solo home run for South Range (3-1) in the Grand Strand Softball Classic. Sherman is 6-0.

McDONALD
Machaela Cavalcanti hit a two-run single to score Josie Applegarth and Shelby Sandrock in the top of the seventh and Emily Stacy added an insurance RBI to help the Tigers (1-1) rally. Applegarth struck out nine in a five-hitter to get the win. Taylor Johnston and Stacy each had two hits.
West Branch 13, Carrollton 1
CARROLLTON
Kelsey Byers had two doubles, a single and an RBI for the Warriors (1-1, 1-1 Northeastern Buckeye Conference). Kylie Coffelt added two hits, including a triple, and three RBIs, and also got the win, striking out 10 in six innings.
