A summary of recent criminal activity in Hubbard, Liberty and Girard:

HUBBARD

March 31

Identity fraud: A Mackey Street man told police he received an online notification stating someone had filed an income-tax return using his Social Security number.

Threats: A 14-year-old girl alleged a boy, 13, had made threats and obscene comments toward her while they were on a school bus.

April 1

Vehicle theft: A $2,000 flat-bed trailer was stolen in the 800 block of East Liberty Street.

April 3

Drugs: A traffic stop near Jacobs Road led to minor-misdemeanor citations charging Anthony M. Parish, 21, of Westview Drive, Hubbard, with having a small bag of suspected marijuana and a bowl with suspected marijuana residue.

April 4

Burglary: To a residence in the 100 block of Caroline Avenue, apparently through the basement. More than $25,000 was missing from a safe.

Fraud: A Waugh Drive man attempting to buy a pickup truck on Craigslist reported someone convinced him to purchase three $500 prepaid debit cards, after which he never heard from the supposed seller.

Harassment: A Jacobs Road woman said a Hubbard man, 30, has made and sent such calls and text messages regarding custody of their children.

April 6

Arrest: Police picked up Christopher J. Richards, 19, of Wedgewood Drive, Austintown. He was wanted on a township warrant.

Theft: A man left Handyman Hardware, 35 S. Main St., without paying for a $60 wheelbarrow.

Criminal damaging: Someone on an all-terrain vehicle left ruts on and did minor damage to a portion of grass at Deer Creek Golf Course, 7691 E. Liberty St.

LIBERTY

March 31

Arrest: Patrick S. Beres, 43, was arrested at his Overbrook Avenue residence. The township man was wanted on an Allegheny County, Pa., warrant accusing him of failing to appear for a preliminary hearing related to a charge of operating a vehicle impaired.

Theft: A Mansell Drive man noticed a $50 personal check missing.

April 1

Recovered property: A Girard woman’s 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle was returned after she alleged her boyfriend had taken and failed to bring it back.

Criminal damaging: Someone tossed eggs at a residence in the 1100 block of Timbercrest Drive and did $100 in damage to a portion of its wooden siding.

Theft: A 30-square-inch sign, a beverage cooler and an air-conditioning unit were missing from the Hookah Cafe, 3101 Belmont Ave. The loss was estimated at $6,150.

Harassment: A Sodom-Hutchings Road woman said her former boyfriend made several unwanted calls to her.

April 2

Arrest: Police near Gypsy Lane pulled over and arrested Edward C. Frazier Jr., 62, of Thornton Avenue, Youngstown. He was wanted on a Warren warrant.

Theft: A man discovered 100 stainless-steel hubcaps and 10 steel truck rims missing in the 4100 block of Belmont Avenue. The loss came to $1,800.

April 3

Arrest: The Ohio State Highway Patrol relinquished custody of Joshua A. Minor, 25, of Arrow Street, Youngstown, who was wanted on a probation-violation charge.

Aggravated menacing: An East Liberty Street woman alleged a 35-year-old Cortland man threatened several times to kill her.

Arrests: Police in the 2700 block of Belmont Avenue took into custody Danzel N. Case of Colby Avenue, Youngstown. The 20-year-old man was wanted on a Girard Municipal Court warrant. Also arrested was Andrew Scott, 28, of Centervale Avenue, Boardman, on a warrant.

April 4

Arrest: Authorities took custody of James R. Shankel, 51, of Clewell Drive, Lisbon, who was wanted on a Girard Municipal Court warrant.

Drugs: Authorities responded to a possible drug overdose at a Murray Hill Drive home, where they reportedly found a syringe containing suspected heroin. A man admitted having used the drug, though no charges were filed at the time of the report.

Theft: A woman reportedly took $100 worth of clothing from Citi Trends, 3489 Belmont Ave., and fled in a gold Pontiac Bonneville vehicle.

Arrest: Cameron Wells, 32, was taken into custody after having been pulled over near Arbor Circle. Wells, of Palmyra Road, Warren, was wanted on a warrant from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and was charged with driving under suspension.

April 6

Arrest: Officers at the Mahoning County jail booked Jesse Anderson, 49, of Eddie Street, Youngstown, on a Girard Municipal Court warrant.

GIRARD

April 4

Attempted theft: A woman reportedly tried to buy a bottle of liquor from Towne Center Liquor-Lottery, 816 N. State St., with a counterfeit $100 bill.

April 5

Theft: A Park Avenue woman alleged her roommate stole a $150 Sony PlayStation 3 system from her.

Theft: A manager of a Shell gas station, 420 S. State St., conducted an audit and discovered a total of $695 missing from a drawer.

April 6

Arrest: Officers investigating a suspicious-person situation took into custody Dana A. Goodwin, no information listed, who was wanted on a warrant charging failure to appear in court.

Menacing: An East Prospect Street man alleged a neighbor threatened to punch his face as part of a feud related to the neighbor’s backing his vehicle into the accuser’s driveway.
