New Castle man arrested in robbery and assault case
NEW CASTLE, PA
State police arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery and an assault on a customer at the Sheetz store on U.S. Route 422 near New Castle, Pa.
The crimes occurred at 1:05 a.m. Oct. 3, 2013.
Mikal Marquise, 22, of East Lutton Street in New Castle, turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest Wednesday.
He was charged with robbery, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, theft and receiving stolen property.
He was arraigned at District Magistrate David Rishel’s office and put into the Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond
