Car rammed on South Side in dispute over cellphone bill

YOUNGSTOWN — Police reports said a car was rammed about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday with a woman and two children inside during a dispute over a $40 cellphone bill.

Police were called to the 3000 block of Hudson Avenue on the South Side, where a 26-year-old woman said she was in a car with her niece and nephew, ages 1 and 3, when a woman she knows drove up in an SUV and collided with the back of the car she was in while she was sitting in a driveway.

The woman in the car said it was her cousin’s, and the cousin and the woman in the SUV were arguing over a cellphone bill, reports said.

No one was injured. Police could not find the SUV.
