A summary of recent criminal activity in Poland and Boardman townships:

POLAND

March 27

Identity fraud: A township woman discovered her identity had been used without consent.

Theft: A Manor Avenue woman reported a $300 laptop computer stolen.

March 28

Identity fraud: A Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road man learned that someone had filed a 2014 income-tax form using his information.

Menacing: A worker for a U.S. Route 224 bank said she had been threatened.

March 31

Identity fraud: An Eastbrooke Trail woman found out her debit card had been used without permission.

BOARDMAN

April 1

Arrest: Officers answered a call pertaining to a person at a Market Street motel who was severely ill before taking into custody 43-year-old Wendy M. Thrasher of Fountain Square Drive, Austintown. Thrasher was wanted on a Trumbull County warrant accusing her of violating a court order.

Child endangerment: Police answered a call about a possibly missing child, then charged Terry L. Becker, 31, of Turnberry Drive, Boardman, with one misdemeanor count of endangering children. While in Becker’s yard, a 2-year-old child wandered across nearby Tippecanoe Road before being found unharmed in the 3700 block of Fairway Drive several houses away, a report stated.

Theft: Michael G. Lumpp, 29, of Oakwood Drive, Brookfield, faced a felony-theft charge after a 60-inch TV valued at $1,148 was stolen from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Identity fraud: A Wildwood Drive woman reported having received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service stating someone had filed a 2014 income-tax return in her name.

Trespassing: Officers charged Joseph P. Sattarelle, 24, with criminal trespassing after saying Sattarelle, of East Lucius Avenue, Youngstown, was at Walmart in violation of a previous criminal-trespassing warning.

Drugs: Authorities responded to possible drug activity at a Tiffany Boulevard motel, where they charged Katherine J. Hasson, 30, with possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and drug-abuse instruments. The Hartsville, S.C., woman admitted having suspected crack cocaine and a suspected crack pipe in her purse; police also found three small bags of suspected crack cocaine and a hypodermic syringe, they alleged.

April 2

Arrest: Officers picked up Travis J. Bennett, 22, of West Boulevard, Boardman, on a misdemeanor warrant from the Pennsylvania State Police charging him with making terroristic threats.

Criminal damaging: A man told police that while driving near Glenwood Avenue, someone tossed an egg, cracking his windshield.

Theft: Michael Phillips, 57, of Mistletoe Avenue, Youngstown, was charged with taking a $99 saw from Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.

Citation: Police responded to a suspicious vehicle on McClurg Road before citing Nicholas J. Antenucci, 30, of Maplewood Street, Warren, on a charge of operating a vehicle impaired. Antenucci’s blood-alcohol count was 0.104, a report showed.

Felonious assault: Authorities received a call regarding a fight on St. Albans Drive and charged Nicholas M. Garritano, 19, of Villa Rosa Drive, Canfield, with felonious assault, aggravated menacing and aggravated criminal trespassing after his girlfriend alleged that during a heated argument, Garritano had dragged her by her feet and threw her against a door, injuring and possibly breaking her left arm. Garritano also refused to leave the residence, she further alleged.

Theft: Chrissy L. Wortman, 33, of Raglan Drive Northeast, Warren, was charged with felony theft after 47 articles of women’s clothing valued at $1,232 were taken from Victoria’s Secret in Southern Park Mall.

Vandalism: Someone in a vehicle destroyed a $1,500 stone planter at an apartment complex in the 7400 block of West Boulevard.

Theft: Krysta-Jo M. Barber, 23, of Brookwood Road, Boardman, was charged, accused of stealing a fruit drink from Walmart.

April 3

Theft: Larry G. Rusu, 58, and Christine L. Rusu, 57, both of Sheridan Road, Youngstown, surrendered on charges of theft and obstructing official business, respectively. The charges stem from a March 31 shoplifting situation at Dollar General, 5953 South Ave.

Assault: The owner of a cleaning company told authorities that while in the 500 block of East Western Reserve Road, a man grabbed, pushed and choked the accuser, apparently after becoming unhappy with the quality of work the victim’s business had performed.

Child endangering: Police responded to a possibly intoxicated motorist near Westview Drive before charging Mary T. Driscoll, 53, of Youngstown-Salem Road, Salem, with three counts of child endangerment and citing her on a charge of operating a vehicle impaired. Also in the car were three children under age 15, a report showed.

Theft: Authorities charged Vicki L. Shacklock, 56, of Florence Drive, North Lima, in the theft of $63 worth of merchandise, including a pair of sandals, from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road.

Identity fraud: A Sheldon Avenue woman found out someone without authorization had opened a PayPal account using her name and Social Security number.

Theft: A $1,600 trailer was stolen from Shaffer Concrete LLC, 5785 Southern Blvd.

Theft/criminal damaging: A vehicle at Southern Park Mall was found with a broken passenger-side window. Stolen from the car were a bag, a purse and a pair of tennis shoes.

April 4

Arrest: A traffic stop near South Avenue led to a charge of operating a vehicle impaired against Judith Cornwell, 25, of Van Drive, Poland.
