Ohio police arrest suspect in Chuck E. Cheese’s assault
PARMA, Ohio (AP) — A 22-year-old Cleveland man has been charged with felonious assault and aggravated rioting in connection with an assault on six employees during a children’s birthday party at a Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurant in March.
Parma police say Jahmeel Rashad Green was in custody after surrendering today. Two men and a woman from Cleveland were arrested last week. Police have said they planned to seek juvenile charges against a teenage boy.
Police say the attack occurred March 8 after a woman attending a children’s party at the restaurant complained to employees and a manager that a photo booth wasn’t working and was told to wait. Police say a man then threatened to kill the manager and began attacking him. Additional employees trying to intervene were assaulted by other party-goers.
