Leetonia man arrested in child porn investigation

LEETONIA

A Leetonia man was arrested Tuesday on 10 felony charges of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

Lucas Ippolito, 41, was arrested at his Sleepy Hollow Drive home Tuesday after authorities with the Attorney General’s Crimes Against Children Unit, part of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and Leetonia Police Department served a search warrant. They removed multiple computers and digital media storage devices from his home, according to a news release.

The investigation into the Leetonia man began in January after authorities received a tip that he was allegedly downloading and disseminating child pornography, the release said. The Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force assisted in the ongoing investigation.
