Rodesky-Baird engagement is announced

Edward and Patricia Rodesky of Youngstown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jeanette Rodesky of Struthers, to Christopher Baird, also of Struthers. David and Lillian Baird of Lowellville are the parents of the prospective groom.

An open ceremony is being planned for 2 p.m. July 11 at the Cathedral of St. Columba, and invitations will be extended for a reception to take place that evening at The Georgetown in Boardman.

The bride-elect is employed as manager of Bogey’s Bar & Grill and Bogey’s Riverside Banquet Center in Lowellville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in human ecology from Youngstown State University.

Mr. Baird is a graduate of the New Castle School of Trades with a degree in heating, ventilation and air conditioning. He is employed as a skilled laborer at Dearing Compressor & Pump Co. in Youngstown.
