UPDATE | Robber hits Farmer's Bank in Girard

GIRARD — Police say a man with a note held up a Farmer’s National Bank in the 100 block of North State Street about 10:35 a.m. today.

Police are looking for a black man wearing a dark hat between 5 feet 6 and 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a medium build in his late 30s or 40s.

Reports said the man gave an employee a note that said he had a gun but employees never saw a gun. Anyone with information is asked to call Girard police at 330-545-0211.
