OCCHA health fair is Wednesdsay

OCCHA Inc. will host a community health fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at OCCHA hall, 3660 Shirley Road.
A variety of community programs will gather to promote general health by providing presentations and educational materials.
The fair’s goal is to provide a collective forum in an effort to foster health promotion and prevention awareness for families and community members so that they may achieve their highest level of wellness, OCCHA officials said in a news release.
Vendors who will attend and provide support and informative presentations will include: Access Health Mahoning Valley, Breast Care Center, CareSource, Compass Family and Community Services, Dr. Consuelo Mendez, Help Me Grow, Hospice of the Valley, Mercy Health and Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio.
Since its founding in March 1972, the nonprofit Organizacion Civica y Cultural Hispana Americana has worked to identify problem areas in the Spanish-speaking community and establish programs to address them.
Its mission is to strive to improve quality of life for Hispanics and others in the multicultural community by providing social, economic, cultural and educational programs.
