TUESDAY

Ikebana will meet at 10 a.m. Shirley Winkler will provide instruction sheets.

THURSDAY

Nature Lovers will meet at 1 p.m. in the Tyler Classroom at Fellows Riverside Gardens. The program will be “Herbal Teas,” by Kathy Helmick, 755 Warner Road, Vienna, 330-856-3174. Helmick is a member of Girard Herb Society.

UPCOMING

Garden Club of Ohio, Youngstown District, will have its spring meeting April 17 at Picadilly Parlour, 114 S. Broad St., Canfield. Registration takes place at 9:30 a.m., and the meeting begins at 10. At 10:30, Master Gardener Bill Snyder will discuss “What Kind of Soil is This?” There will be a break at 11:30 a.m., and lunch will begin at noon. Barbara Shuh and Aggis Goss will present “It’s Not My Type!” at 1 p.m., followed by a break. At 2:30 the new district director will be installed, and the meeting adjourns at 3.
