The marriage of Carly Hammond of Diamond and Chandler Bishop of Newton Falls took place June 28, 2014, at The Prozy Cabin, property of the bride’s aunt and uncle.

Parents of the couple are William and Judy Hammond of Diamond and Ronald and Cassandra Bishop of Newton Falls.

The bride’s grandfather, the Rev. Richard E. Fruit, officiated for the 2:30 p.m. wedding, and a reception followed at Cedars Reception Center in North Jackson.

The couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico, and live in Lake Milton.

The bride wore an ivory gown of beaded lace that was designed with an empire waist, cap sleeves and a champagne-colored sash. The trumpet skirt flowed to a chapel train. Her mid-length ivory veil was trimmed with pearls, beads and sequins.

Kirstin Simon was the matron of honor, and the maid of honor was Tera Benedict. They wore petal pink gowns. Canary gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Lea Ellis, the bride’s cousin; Amanda Mosko; Kelly Passmore; and Melina Poling. The bride’s cousin Haylee Ellis was flower girl.

The groom’s brother, Dalton Bishop, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Peighton Bishop, the groom’s brother; Chad Hammond, the bride’s brother; Michael Slater; Eddie Westfall; and Gerald Combs, the groom’s grandfather. Ring bearer was the bride’s cousin Tyler Ellis.

Mrs. Bishop holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University and is an intervention specialist for Austintown schools.

Her husband is employed by Steere Enterprises in Tallmadge as an injection-mold operator.
