Trustees taking applications for scholarships

Eleanor Fenstermaker Scholarship trustees are accepting applications for scholarships from Lordstown graduating seniors and previous graduates of Lordstown High School who are pursuing a higher education at an accredited college, university or trade school.

To obtain a form, email Karen Jones at karenjones@embarqmail.com.

The deadline for applying is April 15.

Lordstown Alumni Association, which administers the Fenstermaker scholarship program, is seeking donations.

To donate, mail your tax-deductible contribution to Ruth West, 1799 Salt Springs Road, Warren, OH 44481.

Make check out to the Lordstown Alumni Association and write scholarship in the memo line.

ASG chapter plans annual style and creativity show

CANFIELD

The Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild will host its 13th annual Spring Extravaganza Style and Creativity Show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 25 at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St.

New this year will be an elevated professional runway for the show, along with entries featuring Youngstown designer Corinne DeCesare.

The cost is $21 for members and $23 for nonmembers and includes lunch.

The deadline for reservations is April 13.
