Staff report
WARREN
Trumbull County commissioners approved pay raises averaging 30 cents an hour for union employees of the county’s Child Support Enforcement Agency.
The three-year pact is retroactive to Jan. 1.
Commissioners approved the pay increases Wednesday for the 48 members of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 3808. The increases also will be paid to the eight nonunion employees in the department, said John Gargano, director of the county’s Department of Job and Family Services. CSEA and JFS merged several years ago.
The pay increases for the union workers will cost the county an additional $187,096 over the three years.
