Very Special Art exhibit at campus
GROVE CITY, Pa.
The 26th annual Very Special Art Exhibit will be on display from Tuesday to April 18 in the gallery of the Pew Fine Arts Center at Grove City College. The exhibit, featuring the artwork of special- needs children, is sponsored by the Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV.
Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends.
The exhibit has grown from 30 students in 1989 to more than 700 students. Very Special Art showcases artwork from kindergarten through 12th grade within the 27 school districts of Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties.
Artwork includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, fiber art and ceramics. All artwork is juried and is included in one of three categories: Juror’s Choice, Honorable Mention or Group Projects.

YWCA art exhibit is seeking entries
YOUNGSTOWN
The YWCA Women Artists: A Celebration! annual art exhibition is seeking entries.
The juried show features works by women artists age 18 and older in all media, including paintings, drawings, photographs, fiber, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry and metal work.
Artists may enter up to five entries. There is a nonrefundable fee of $10 per entry or $45 for five entries. Entry is by CD only. Mailing address for the YWCA is 25 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown OH 44503.
This year’s juror is Susan Talbot-Stanaway, former director of the Zanesville Museum of Art, Zanesville. Original artwork donations (must be 5” x 7”) are being accepted for a silent auction.
