CANFIELD

March 13

Theft: Police arrested Lee Campbell, 30, of Western Reserve Road, Salem, on a theft charge. Police said the theft occurred at Angetta’s, 64 Cardinal Drive.

March 16

Warrant: Police arrested Demetrius Tinker, 34, of Shirley Road, Youngstown, on a Canfield Mayor’s Court Warrant for failure to appear.

March 18

Telecommunications harassment: Police arrested a 16-year-old female on a charge of telecommunications harassment.

March 19

Warrant: Police arrested Ryan Rygiel, 41, of Newton Square, Canfield, on a warrant for failure to appear on a probation violation.

March 23

Warrant: Police arrested Antuan Fields, 19, of Broadway, Youngstown, on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear.

March 14

Domestic violence: Police arrested Tyrese Anderson, 30, of Nantucket Drive, Austintown, on a charge of domestic violence.

Canine violation: Authorities cited Diane Dankovich, 62, of Callahan Road, for dogs running at large.

Warrant: Police arrested Eliezer De La Rosa Ramos, 24, of South Turner Road, on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear.

Fraud: A fraudulent tax return/identity theft was reported at a home on Fairground Boulevard. The matter has been turned over to the IRS for investigation.

Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested Leah Petruzzi, 35, of Hood Drive, Canfield, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Warrant: Police arrested Brandon Zepernick, 21, of State Route 170, East Palestine, was arrested on a warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff’s office.

March 23

Theft: An Ohio driver’s license was stolen at Head Start, 122 Westchester Drive.

Theft: Police arrested Rebecca Robinson, 39, of Fowler Street, Cortland, on a theft charge. Police accused her of taking of $45.37 worth of merchandise at Dollar General, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A son stole his mother’s money and Xanax at a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Identity theft: A bank card was accessed at a home in the 5000 block of Rockwell Road.

Criminal trespass: Police arrested Ben Johnson, 23, of Cleveland and issued him a summons for criminal trespassing at BP Fast Trac, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Breaking and entering: A building was entered and radiators were taken from five 1980s Chevettes.

Warrant: Police arrested Shannon Simpson, 21, of Pembrook Road on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

March 24

Personal injury: A 17-year-old male was injured with an accidental gunshot wound at a home in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Illegal dumping: A person whose license number was recorded was illegally dumping trash in the receptacles at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road.

Theft: A female took merchandise from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave., which was recovered.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Darbyshire Court.

Drug offense: Three males were arrested and issued summonses on drug charges, including: William Fox,21, of Ridgelawn Avenue, Youngstown, for possession of marijuana, Daniel Johntony, 23, of Millet Avenue, Youngstown, for possession of marijuana, and Samuel Johntony, 25, of Millet Ave., for possession of marijuana, hashish and prescription pills.

Aggravated menacing: Threats were made between neighbors in the 3000 block of Brandomyne Avenue.

Criminal trespassing: Police issued a summons to Frank Santolla, 64, of Kirk Road, for criminal trespassing at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, 777 Hollywood Drive.

March 25

Warrant: Police arrested Renee Beshara, 38, of Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road, on a warrant for failure to appear for disorderly conduct and a probation violation.

Theft: A female employee’s purse was stolen from behind the counter at Family Video, 4385 Kirk Road.

Recovered property: A debit card was recovered at St. Elizabeth Hospital, 6252 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Matthew Godfrey, 24, of Mahoning Avenue, on a warrant for domestic violence, misuse of a credit card and failure to appear on a traffic violation.

Warrant: Police arrested Johnathan Daviduk, 18,of Belle Vista Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant for aggravated menacing.

Aggravated burglary: There is a suspect in an aggravated burglary at an apartment in the 800 block of Compass West.

Theft: Items were stolen from a tractor-trailer parked at Roman Cycle Shop, 4494 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Ten cans of baby formula were stolen by a male at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

March 26

Theft: A theft was reported at Walmart,6001 Mahoning Ave.

Identity theft: An unauthorized account was opened at a home in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

March 27

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Levi Laird, 21, of Paisley Street, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a marijuana grinder with marijuana residue at Westchester Square Apartments.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Pinegrove Avenue.

Breaking and entering: Copper was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Blanca Gonzalez, 20, of East Avondale Avenue, Youngstown, for drug abuse for possession of five prescription drug pills.

March 28

Assault: A male and female had conflicting stories about an assault at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Forgery: Three checks were stolen and cashed for $400 at a home in the 200 block of South Navarre Avenue.

Theft: Meat was taken at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

March 29

Telecommunications harassment: A woman reported receiving unwanted texts at her home in the 5000 block of Winslow Drive.

Theft: A semi truck window was broken out and change stolen at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: An assault between a boyfriend and girlfriend was reported at a home in the 2000 block of Kirkhaven Drive.

Theft: Two teenagers were arrested for theft at Walmart.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Christopher Yeager, 19, of Woodhurst Drive, for possession of marijuana.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Robert Moore, 20, of Norquest Boulevard, summons for possession of marijuana and three prescription pills.
