Metaphysical Insights 528 Group will present “Drumming with Baba David Coleman” on Wednesday at the SCOPE Building, 220 W. Market St., Warren. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the program begins at 7. A presentation at 5 will be given by Ted Toles Jr. on “Living on Borrowed Time: The Life and Times of Negro League Player Ted Toles Jr,” the story of his life written by Michael T. Swank. Trumbull County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 10:15 a.m. April 14 in the Thomas Meeting Room of the Warren-Trumbull County Library on Mahoning Avenue. Member Sue Bell will present “The Sinking of the Sultana — A Civil War Disaster.” It has been 150 years since the end of the Civil War and the sinking of the Sultana, a Mississippi riverboat taking soldiers home. The explosion claimed the lives of more than 1,578 soldiers. All are welcome.
