Mahoning Valley Civil War Round Table will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 13 at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman. The speaker will be Mark Holbrook, author and historian of Ohio in the Civil War. Youngstown Mothers of Twins Club will have its monthly meeting at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Davidson Becker Family Life Center, 11 Spring St., Struthers. GROUPS

Metaphysical Insights 528 Group will present “Drumming with Baba David Coleman” on Wednesday at the SCOPE Building, 220 W. Market St., Warren. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the program begins at 7. East Friends of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning Library will have a committee meeting at 4 p.m. at the East Library, 430 Early Road, Youngstown. A presentation at 5 will be given by Ted Toles Jr. on “Living on Borrowed Time: The Life and Times of Negro League Player Ted Toles Jr,” the story of his life written by Michael T. Swank. Trumbull County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 10:15 a.m. April 14 in the Thomas Meeting Room of the Warren-Trumbull County Library on Mahoning Avenue. Member Sue Bell will present “The Sinking of the Sultana — A Civil War Disaster.” It has been 150 years since the end of the Civil War and the sinking of the Sultana, a Mississippi riverboat taking soldiers home. The explosion claimed the lives of more than 1,578 soldiers. All are welcome.

Alzheimer Network Family Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Zion’s Reformed United Church of Christ, 260 Main St., Greenville, Pa., and at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Church, Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman.
