14 apply to replace McFall in Mahoning auditori's office

YOUNGSTOWN

Fourteen people have applied to become Mahoning County’s new chief deputy auditor, but only two of them are certified public accountants.

All but one live in either Trumbull or Mahoning county.

The successful applicant will replace Carol McFall, a CPA who was fired March 4 by Auditor Ralph T. Meacham after she redacted bonus information from a personnel action request form supplied in response to a Vindicator public-records request.

McFall’s final salary here was $92,500 a year.

McFall has become Clinton County’s chief deputy auditor in Wilmington, Ohio, at $75,000 a year, Terence G. Habermehl, Clinton County auditor, announced Friday.

The two applicants to succeed McFall here who are CPAs are Rhonda L. Lucivjansky of Canfield, travel and contract administrator in procurement services at Youngstown State University, and Alexander S. Mangie of Canfield, fiscal officer and deputy clerk at the Mahoning County Board of Elections.
