Twitter threats investigated at Boardman High School
BOARDMAN — School officials are investigating a Twitter threat made against a Boardman High School student.
Jared Cardillo, Boardman High School principal, said officials were monitoring "inappropriate" but non-threatening tweets earlier in the week.
Early Thursday morning, the administration became aware that a threat was made against a Boardman High School student in a tweet.
“Boardman police are providing extra security at the school today and we are confident that the school day will function as normal,” Superintendent, Frank Lazzeri said.
