Nezbeth arraigned
GIRARD
Kenneth A. Nezbeth, 36, of Howland and Brookfield, charged with robbing Michelle’s Mart in Hubbard Township on Nov. 23, was arraigned Tuesday on an aggravated-robbery charge in Girard Municipal Court.
He is in the Trumbull County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond. He was not required to enter a plea.
Police said Nezbeth pointed a gun at a small child in the store while seeking cash from the register. He obtained the cash and fled.
Secret indictment
WARREN
Frank Arcuri III, 35, of Frostwood Drive, Cortland, was arrested Tuesday afternoon after being secretly indicted by a Trumbull County grand jury Tuesday on four counts of rape.
Each charge carries a possible life prison sentence.
Judge W. Wyatt McKay of common pleas court set bond at $1 million Wednesday morning during Arcuri’s arraignment. He pleaded not guilty and is in the county jail.
The charges stem from a complaint filed by a woman living on Larry Lane in Bazetta Township accusing Arcuri of committing sex offenses against a young girl.

EAST LIVERPOOL
St. Aloysius School, 335 W. Fifth St., will close at the end of the current school year.
Bishop George V. Murry of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown has accepted the recommendation of the Office of Catholic Schools and the Rev. Peter Haladej, pastor of Holy Trinity Church, 235 W. Fifth St., East Liverpool.
Declining enrollment is cited as the primary reason for the closure.
