Gina Ross, Paul Smaldone plan June rite

Peter and Carol Ross of Youngstown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Gina Marie Ross of Cleveland, to Paul Anthony Smaldone, also of Cleveland, son of Paul and Mary Ann Smaldone of Buffalo, N.Y.

The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Cleveland will be the setting for the couple’s open wedding at 2 p.m. June 6. A reception by invitation will take place that evening at the Silver Grille at the Ritz Carlton, also in Cleveland.

A graduate of John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree, Miss Ross is an account manager with Medtronic in Cleveland.

The prospective groom holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from John Carroll and is employed at Heidelberg Distributing in Cleveland as a portfolio director.
