Boardman police arrest woman on drug charges

BOARDMAN — A South Carolina woman faces drug-related charges after township police arrested her outside an area hotel Wednesday.

Katherine Hasson, 30, is charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug-abuse instruments, and felony drug possession.

An officer working on a drug investigation alerted a patrolman to the woman, and when police stopped her they found suspected crack cocaine, a pipe and hypodermic syringe. A person who was with her was not arrested.

Hasson is in the Mahoning County jail.
