SCHOOL GARDEN WORKSHOP
When: Tuesday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
What: This workshop is for those interested in starting or working with School/Youth Center Greenhouses and Gardens. We’ll cover all kinds of garden activities and resources to get your school garden rolling.
Where: Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, state Route 46, Canfield.
Cost: $35/person, includes lunch, handouts, and activities to take home.

FRUIT TREE PRUNING CLINIC
When: April 11, 1-4 p.m.
What: Come learn to prune fruit trees.

NATURE IMPRESSIONS IN CLAY
When: April 11, 2-4 p.m.
What: Clay is one of earth’s most amazing materials. While it is soft, it can be modeled into many forms, and it can be impressed with objects (seeds, sticks, leaves, etc.) to create beautiful designs and textures. When it is fired, it becomes hard and durable. Workshop participants will explore rolling out slabs of clay, texturing them and then building a small birdhouse. For anyone age 10 to adult. Limited to 16 participants.

WOODCARVERS WORKSHOP
When: April 13, 6:30 p.m.
What: Woodcarving enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to meet Don in the Visitors Center at 6:30 p.m. Beginners and those just curious about woodcarving are especially welcome.
