Women voter events offered

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Atty. Michelle Simonelli, left, and Dr. Barbara Brothers of the League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown will be leading educational programs for the public in October. Brothers will coordinate a program featuring the film “Rise Above the Mark,” which focuses on challenges facing students and teachers, at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., downtown Youngstown. At 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22 there will be a Judicial Candidates Forum sponsored by the LWV. Registration is set for 6 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St., Youngstown. The forum will acquaint the community with all Mahoning County judicial candidates.
