Wolves Club installs president

Thomas Bleggi of Canfield was recently installed as president of the Wolves Club of Youngstown at a dinner at Johnny’s Restaurant.

Bleggi is a partner with Buckeye Ceramic Tile Distributors Inc. and has served on the Wolves Club board of trustees. He also is a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church. He and his wife, Nancy, are the parents of three grown children.

Other officers inducted were Anthony Monaco, president-elect; Michael Baca, treasurer; Peter Chila, secretary; Robert Adduci and Joseph Meranto, members of the board of directors; and Nicholas Manos, scholarship committee. Dr. Gary Bitonte conducted the installation.

Donations in 2014-2015 totaled $47,000, which were distributed for scholarships for Youngstown State University and Humility of Mary Health Partners nursing program. The amount includes matching funds from YSU Foundation and Humility of Mary Health Partners Development Foundation.

The Wolves Club of Youngstown has donated more than $750,000 for scholarships and community projects since its inception.
