Pasta dinner will help fund liver transplant

Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

First Christian Assembly Church, 3243 Cardinal Drive, will be the location of a pasta dinner and quilt show fundraiser from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday.

It will benefit Keith Noyes of Hubbard, who was diagnosed with end-stage liver failure in January and needs a liver transplant.

He asked the National Foundation for Transplants for assistance in raising more than $575,000 for the transplant and medical costs that will follow. This amount is needed over and above what health insurance will pay.

The entry fee is $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under and will include a basket auction, quilt show, live entertainment and a car show, weather permitting.

To make a tax deductible donation, send your check to: NFT Ohio Transplant Fund, 5350 Poplar Ave., Suite 430, Memphis, TN 38119. Be sure to write “in honor of Keith Noyes” on the memo line. Secure donations also can be made online at www.transplants.org, select Find an NFT patient to locate Noyes.
