“The Simpsons” (8 p.m., Fox) and “Family Guy” (9 p.m., Fox): Woo-hoo! The first families of TV animation launch their seasons in rousing style this week. First, on “The Simpsons,” a familiar character bites the dust. An hour later, “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy” join comedic forces for a crossover extravaganza that has the Griffins accidentally winding up in Springfield, where they’re befriended by Homer, Marge and company. Break out the Duff Beer — or Pawtucket Ale, if you prefer.

“Once Upon a Time” (8 p.m., ABC): They just couldn’t let it go. Producers of “Once Upon a Time” jump on the “Frozen” bandwagon with a chilling story- line inspired by Anna (Elizabeth Lail), Elsa (Georgina Haig) and the box-office blockbuster.

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (8:30 P.M., FOX): The zany cop comedy is back on the case. The Season 2 opener picks up six months after Peralta (Andy Samberg) admitted that he had a crush on Amy (Melissa Fumero).

“Masters of Sex” (10 p.m., Showtime): “Masters of Sex” closes out its deliciously provocative second season as our bedroom researchers finally pass the results of their studies on to the world

Organ-piano duo in concert at church

WARREN

The Arsenal Duo, comprised of Pittsburgh musicians Nathan Carterette (piano) and Edward Alan Moore (organ), will give a concert at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlanic St. NE, at 4 p.m. next Sunday.

The program will feature solo performances and combined organ-piano selections.

Featured will be Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.

Admission is free, but an offering will be received.
