Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

Wednesday, Oct. 1: Roasted pork loin, potatoes with gravy, mixed vegetables, unsweetened applesauce, grape juice, bread, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Thursday, Oct. 2: Chicken drummies, blend vegetables, green beans, pineapple tidbits, bread, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Friday, Oct. 3: Turkey hot dog on a bun, corn, vegetable chili, mandarin oranges, grape juice and milk.

Saturday, Oct. 4: Ham, tossed romaine, three-bean salad, orange, gelatin, bread, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Monday, Oct. 6: Cheese omelet, tater tots, unsweetened applesauce, blueberry muffin, orange juice and milk.

Tuesday, Oct. 7: Teriyaki chicken, oriental vegetables, broccoli, tropical fruit, fruit punch, wheat bread, fortune cookie and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal. To make a reservation or for more information, call 330-675-2486. Wednesday, Oct. 1: Johnny Marzetti, corn, broccoli cuts, lettuce with Italian dressing, Italian bread and milk.

Thursday, Oct. 2: Mild rope sausage with peppers and onions on a bun, green beans, scalloped potatoes, unsweetened gelatin with pears and milk.

Friday, Oct. 3: Beef tips with gravy, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, wheat bread with margarine, orange juice and milk.

Monday, Oct. 6: Beef hot dog on a bun, baked beans, mixed vegetables, orange and milk.

Tuesday, Oct. 7: Chicken stew, broccoli, unsweetened applesauce, wheat bread with margarine, mixed fruit and milk.
