Rachel Braunegg scored twice and Hope Churley added another goal as Lakeview shutout Champion. Abby Pavlik and Bethany Hayes each recorded an assist. Miranda Feefe stopped five shots for the Bulldogs (8-3-1). Carissa Hurst made 12 saves for the Flashes. JV: Lakeview 3-0.

NORTH CANTON

Freshman Cara Higgins scored off an assist by Alison Green for Boardman (4-7-1). Jenna Fallick, Alexis Herrera and Danielle Huff scored for Hoover while Rachel Somocy had two assists and Sophie Cressman had one. Kristen Huck had five saves for the Spartans. JV: 1-1.

Kyle Cyphert scored two goals, Alex Kilpatrick scored twice and Tex Martin added a goal for Austintown Fitch (5-4-3). Lars Martschausky and Josh Hendrickson scored for Firestone. JV: 1-0 Fitch.

Lordstown 11, Mathews 0

LORDSTOWN

The Red Devils’ Federico Colombo scored four goals, Mike Rendziniak had a goal and three assists and Garrett Behner had a goal and two assists. Lordstown (9-1-2) also got a goal and an assist each from Jiryes Rafidi and Dustin Hajnosz, while Joey Sekerak, Michon Peterson and Brennen Lickwar also added goals. Mathews goalies Clay O’Dell and Lucas Swerden each recorded 10 saves each. The shutout was the Red Devils’ seventh of the season. Lordstown did not allow Mathews a single shot on goal.
