MAHONING COUNTY | Flu-shot clinics


The Mahoning County District Board of Health is administering quadrivalent flu shots and nasal spray flu vaccine, trivalent short-needle flu shots upon request, and high-dose trivalent flu vaccine for those 65 and older at several locations in October. Most private insurances are accepted.

What to bring: Clients are asked to bring insurance, Medicare or Medicaid card(s) so the cost of the vaccine can be billed.

Cost: $30 for quadrivalent flu vaccine, the nasal spray vaccine and trivalent short-needle flu vaccine; $50 for high-dose trivalent flu vaccine. No appointment is necessary.

Wednesday: 9 to 11 a.m., Berlin Township Building, Weidemeir House, 15801 Akron-Canfield Road, Berlin Center; noon to 2 p.m., Lake Milton Fire Station, 15980 Milton Ave., Lake Milton; 1 to 3:30 p.m., Goshen Township Administration Building, 14003 W. South Range Road.

Thursday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Greenbriar Healthcare Center, 8064 South Ave., Boardman.

Friday: Noon to 4 p.m., Poland Township Administration Building, 3339 Dobbins Road.

Oct. 8: 1 to 4 p.m., Mauthe Park, 156 Smithfield St., Struthers.

Oct. 9: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St.

Oct. 15: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Boardman Township Administration Building, 8299 Market St.

Oct. 16: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mahoning County District Board of Health, 50 Westchester Drive, Austintown.

Oct. 20: 9 a.m. to noon, Green Township Administration Building, 12200 Lisbon Road.
