“Community Connection” (Sunday at 6:30 a.m. on 21 WFMJ-TV and 11 a.m. on WBCB): Penny Wells and Micah Smith of Sojourn to the Past will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the Sojourn Project, the upcoming nonviolence parade and rally and the kick-off of nonviolence week to be celebrated in the city beginning Oct. 5.

Next, Jennifer Riehl-Rapczak and Patty Shaver of the Newton Falls Firefighters Women’s Auxiliary will discuss the 25th Newton Falls Chili Cook-Off. The event raises funds for the local fire department for purchasing and updating equipment.

Museum displays Rockwell covers

WARREN

An exhibit of Norman Rockwell paintings titled “Vintage Saturday Evening Post Covers” is on display at the Sutliff Museum.

Several of Rockwell’s most iconic paintings for the magazine are featured.

The exhibit will be up through October in the museum’s Community Collections case.

Admission is free.

Hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.

The museum is located on the second floor of the Warren public library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW.
