Warren native in campus concert

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.

Alexis Musgrove of Warren is among three Westminster College music performance majors who will present a free concert at 3 p.m. Saturday in Wallace Memorial Chapel on the school’s campus.

Musgrove, a senior, and junior Danielle Smith participated in a three-week intensive opera program in Verona, Italy, over the summer that included classes in Italian language and diction, acting, career development, and private sessions with leaders in opera. They performed in concerts in Verona churches and in a castle.

Musgrove is a daughter of JoAnn Musgrove of Warren, and a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Smith is from Kennerdell, Pa.

The third student in the concert is pianist Joseph Bandi, a sophomore from the Pittsburgh area who participated in the Dublin International Piano Festival this summer.

Saturday’s concert will include selections from the summer experiences of each student, along with photos and stories of each trip.
