Austintown Park to host Oktoberfest

AUSTINTOWN

Austintown Township Park, 6512 Kirk Road, will host Awesometown Oktoberfest from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 5.

It will feature food, kids activities, prizes, exhibits and live music from DJ Crazy Dave.

As part of the festival, from 1 to 4 p.m. a classic car show will take place.

The goals for the festival are to celebrate good things about Austintown, to build relationships and good will among residents and to help connect people in need with resources available.

The festival organizers want to showcase businesses and individuals who agree with the above goals and are requesting sponsorships and/or donations to make the festival a success. Vendor and exhibitor spaces are available for $25 each.

Businesses are asked to provide some giveaway or some kind of activity or service for those attending.

In addition to giveaways, businesses are asked to donate an item or items for the basket raffle.
