Lions club screens eyes at the fair

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Austintown Lions Club took its turn at manning the eye screening booth at the Medical Building at the Canfield Fair. Lions members checked many local residents using eye charts, peripheral vision screening and eye pressure checks for glaucoma. Several referrals to eye doctors were given to those who failed the screenings. Austintown Lion Jack Kochansky, left, is examining a local resident for peripheral vision.
