Sohaydas’ 50th celebrated with family cruise

Mr. and Mrs. John L. (Jack) Sohayda of Mineral Ridge celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family cruise to the southern Caribbean.

Their children are Drs. Chris and Jill Sohayda of Littleton, Colo., and Dr. Robert and Cindy Gaetano of Canfield. They also have five grandchildren.

Mr. Sohayda married the former Mary Margaret Lynn on Sept. 5, 1964, at St. Stephen Church in Niles. They are members of St. Mary Church in Mineral Ridge.

Mrs. Sohayda retired in 2008 from the Eaton Group of Boardman, where she worked as a realtor. She is a member of the Red Hat Society.

Her husband retired in 2003 from Antonucci Plumbing in Warren, where he worked as a pipefitter. He is a U.S. Navy veteran.

Among other clubs, the couple are members of the Shenango Valley Corvette Club and Warren Ski Club.
