Miss Madden, Mr. Rassega are engaged

Ruth Ann Madden of Canfield and Peter Joseph Rassega II of Mineral Ridge are engaged, their parents are announcing.

She is the daughter of John and Ruth Madden of Canfield, and he is the son of Marjorie Rassega of Mineral Ridge and Peter and Lynnde Rassega of Boardman.

The couple will be married in a 2 p.m. Nov. 1 ceremony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown. A reception is planned at Drake’s Landing in Canfield. Invitations are to be issued for both events.

The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in education. She is employed as a specialist in enrollment services for Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown.

The prospective groom graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employed as a support specialist for J&M Technologies in Canfield.
