Memorial event set for Banko family

There will be a memorial fundraiser for Joseph Banko on Oct. 4 at Chestnut Ridge Park. The memorial will start at 3 p.m. and will include a balloon release at dark.

All proceeds will go to the Banko family.

There will be a cornhole tournament at $20 per team, a pass/punt/kick contest with three different age groups at $10 per person, a basket auction and 50-50 raffle. Prizes will be given to the winners of the cornhole tournament and three winners from the pass/punt/kick contest. T-shirts for $25 and window clings for $10 will be sold at the door while supplies last. Food and beverages are $4 for kids and $8 for adults.
