Dinner party honors Aurilios’ 50th anniversary

Joseph and Louise Aurilio of Girard were honored for their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner party on July 20 at Ciminero’s Banquet Hall in Niles. It was hosted by their children, Lisa Aurilio of Twinsburg, Jennifer (Mike) Rice of Girard and Jacqlyn (Dave) Sabatino of Howland; and grandchildren, Ava, Gianna and Sidnee.

Joseph Aurilio and the former Louise Maiorana were married June 20, 1964, at St. Rose Church, where they are members.

Dr. Aurilio retired in 2013 from Youngstown State University, where she was professor of the nursing department. She is a member of District Three Ohio Nurses Association and YSU Retired Teachers.

Mr. Aurilio retired in 2004 as manager of Giant Eagle in Howland. He is a member of multiple golf leagues.
