Church will sponsor Ukrainian festival

AUSTINTOWN

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church is sponsoring a Ukrainian Festival on Sept. 28 at St. Anne’s Parish Hall, 4310 Kirk Road.

The menu will feature many traditional homemade foods such as kielbasa and sauerkraut, stuffed cabbage, haluski, borscht, pirogi and kolachi.

Entertainment will be provided by the Kiev Ukrainian Dancers from Carnegie, Pa., and the Youngstown Area Ukrainian Dancers. Happy Hearts Tamburitzans also will be featured, and the Jack Vasko Orchestra will provide music for dancing and listening.

The doors open at noon, and entertainment will begin at 1 p.m. Admission and parking are free, and the public is invited.
