Genealogy program at library

Tim Seman at the Poland branch library will present “Eclectic Genealogy: An Introduction to Family History Research” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the library’s meeting room.

The program, a comprehensive introduction to genealogical research, will help adults learn how to build their own family tree by using a broad range of resources.

Seman draws on his personal experience in his entertaining program. He also demonstrates the resources that are available at the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County.

The library also has a Book-A-Librarian program, which allows patrons to set up a one-hour appointment with a librarian for a consultation on a variety of topics, including genealogy.
