Enrichment programs set

Warriors Inc. will host two enrichment programs for children and teens, “Totally You Girl” and “Warriors of Manhood.”

“Totally You Girl” focuses on educating and empowering young women age 8 to 18, emphasizing the importance of developing positive self-image, improving self-esteem and confidence.

“Warriors of Manhood” focuses on educating and empowering young men age 8 to 18 by emphasizing the importance of being an honorable man of integrity and character in the community.

Both of the programs aim to equip participants with the necessary tools and leadership skills to be confident and courageous youths in today’s society. Both will take place from Oct. 4 through Dec. 8.

A parent and student kick-off breakfast is planned for program participants at 9:45 a.m. Oct. 4 at Horizon Science Academy, 3403 Southern Blvd. Students must be accompanied by an adult at the breakfast, and pre-registration is required.

The first class of both programs will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 11 at Horizon.
