US Sen. Sherrod Brown accepting Ohio nominations to military academies

The deadline for Ohio students to seek nomination to the four military service academies for 2015 admission through the office of U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Cleveland, is Sept. 25.

Each year, Brown nominates up to 10 students for each service academy — the Air Force Academy in Colorado, Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md., Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., and Merchant Marine Academy, Great Neck, N.Y. — requiring congressional recommendations.
