SNAPZ: Gourd-geous Creations
Whether it’s a shade of the autumn sky, leaves or pumpkins, the color orange is synonymous with this time of year, especially when it comes to those artfully carved jack-o’-lanterns that begin to show their faces with the onset of Halloween.
The carefully crafted creations even have their own special observance: Carve a Pumpkin Day on Oct. 31. So it makes perfect sense to focus on those true works of art for our October Snapz feature, “Gourd-geous Creations.”
Dig out a picture of your favorite jack-o’-lantern from a Halloween gone by. We’ll publish a few of the ones we receive in our Sunday, Oct. 5, edition, and they’ll all be posted online. Remember, we accept snapshots only; no professional portraits.
