Shepherd of the Valley residents get creative

Over the past few months, 15 residents of Shepherd of Valley Boardman have been learning, creating and painting, making more than 50 pieces.

The public is invited to view their creations at the third annual SOV-Boardman Resident Art Show on Sept. 18 from 2:30-5 p.m.

The artwork, created with acrylic paint, beads, shells, flowers and other art supplies, will be on display throughout the building. The show will be judged and awards will be given for first, second and third place.

“I love to see what they create. Everyone is different,” said Kim Osborn, SOV-Boardman Activity Director. “It’s important for people to understand that all of us at any age can continue to learn, grow and uncover hidden talents.”
