Austintown racino reports first-day numbers

AUSTINTOWN — Penn National Gaming reportedly paid out $85,000 from the time it opened Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course until the game day ended at 5 a.m. today.

The new racino opened at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday off state Route 46.

The 850 VLTs remained at high capacity all day and at one point all of them were in play.
