Family Dollar store in Campbell robbed

CAMPBELL

City police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at Family

Dollar, 349 Robinson Road, late Monday.

The robber escaped with an undetermined amount of cash, according to a report. Video from the store's

security cameras shows the robber approach a cash register, then remove a

handgun from his pants pocket. He ordered an employee to remove the cash

drawer from the register and place it on the counter; the suspect took the

cash and fled into the parking lot.

Police responded to the business shortly before 9 p.m. Monday, and were able

to lift some fingerprints from the door. They will be sent to the Ohio

Bureau of Criminal Investigation for analysis.
