Austintown police arrest man on drug charges

AUSTINTOWN

Police arrested Matthew Nypaver, 23, of Austintown, at about 10 p.m. Tuesday on charges of possessing marijuana and paraphernalia. Nypaver was parked in a Fairfield Inn parking lot when police asked if he had seen any suspicious activity in the lot. Police detected suspected marijuana in Nypaver's vehicle and recovered it. Police arrested him and gave him two summons. His court date is 1 p.m. Sept. 29 at Austintown Court.
